What We Have Read Aloud This Year

One of the main reasons I chose Sonlight to use as my homeschool curriculum is because it gives large emphasis on reading aloud to your children. They have pulled together a wonderful selection of read-alouds that are rich literary classics.

Currently we are enjoying The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Which I am actually thoroughly enjoying too. In fact, daddy read chapter 7 to the children after dinner the other night, and I couldn't help myself, cleaning up could wait, I had to stop and sit on the floor and listen too. If that doesn't surprise you, perhaps the fact that I haven't even seen the movie may?

In no particular order, I would like to share what we have read since beginning Kindergarten in September. It has been a rich 7 months so far, indeed.
