One Month Old

I can't believe my little girl is already five weeks old. Why does time fly when the pregnancy is over?! Haha.

Little Joyanne is doing so well and making mommy very proud.

A typical day for us looks like this: (the bold is the baby's, kind of, set schedule)
7:00 Nurse & Devotions (older children and Daddy still in bed)
8:00 Everyone is up for breakfast
8:30 Joyanne's 1st Naptime
10:00 Nurse
(Faith has a Quiet Time)
11:30 Joyanne's 2nd Naptime
1:00 Nurse
(Wesley starts his Naptime here)
2:30 Joyanne's 3rd Naptime
4:00 Nurse
5:30 Joyanne's 4th Naptime (sometimes she doesn't nap here)
7:00 Nurse
7:30 Children's Bedtimes
10:00 Wake up Joyanne and Nurse
11:00 Mom and Dad's bedtime
4:00 Joyanne usually wakes up to nurse and then goes back to bed afterward.

I know this looks very regimented, but it's just a general guideline to make our day a tad more predictable. As predictable as a day can be with children. :) This is the same timeline I used for my first 2 babies and it sure helped our day run smoother. I also wasn't anticipating the benefits it would have for number three with my older two. Because we are pretty routine around here with activities and nursing times, Faith and Wesley are able to anticipate what's coming next. It rarely happens that we start an activity and I have to stop and tend to an unexpected need of the baby's. I think the children appreciate that...I sure do!
