No Greater Joy

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth

I came upstairs the other morning to straighten up the bedrooms, and when I peaked into the girls' room I saw my 2-year old's bed like this. My heart swelled with gratitude and joy. I often find my oldest daughter's Bible nearby her own bed, a bookmark carefully marking her place.

I don't ever want to take a child's openness to Scripture for granted. As their hearts grow and develop and as their minds are exposed to ideas, I pray that God continues to soften their hearts and give them an authentic desire to live their lives for Him.

Thank you Lord

I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great power for us who believe.
---- Ephesians 1:16-19
